Basic Policy

Copy Freedom respects your privacy. We do not collect any personal data. All data stays on your device.

Data Stored Locally

The following data is stored locally on your device using Chrome's extension storage:

• Enabled/disabled state per website hostname
• Whitelist settings

This data never leaves your browser.

Data We Do NOT Collect

• Personal information (name, email, etc.)
• Browsing history
• Clipboard contents
• Cookies
• Location data
• Analytics or tracking data

External Services

Copy Freedom uses ExtensionPay for Pro license purchase management only. Payment is processed by Stripe. Copy Freedom only checks your license status (active or inactive) and does not access or store any payment details.

Website Access

The extension only runs on pages where you explicitly activate it (via the activeTab permission). It does not have blanket access to all websites. Scripts are injected only when you click the extension icon or enable it for a specific site.

Data Deletion

To delete all data stored by Copy Freedom, you can either uninstall the extension or clear extension data via Chrome settings (Settings → Extensions → Copy Freedom → Details → Clear data).

Third Parties

We do not sell, share, or provide user data to third parties.

Changes to This Policy

This privacy policy may be updated from time to time. Users will be notified of significant changes via extension updates.
